TERMS OF RENTAL AND USEFUL INFORMATION 1. Electricity is included in the rent.
2. There is a working open fire in the sitting room (coal and wood are available locally from shops and garages).
3. There is a telephone kiosk 50 yards from the cottage.
4. There is parking for only one car. If you need to bring a second car, you will have to find space to park on the road in the village (nearby places can be hard to find so your second car may have to be a few minute's walk away).
5. We supply bed linen with the beds being made up with duvets when you arrive (but we do not supply linen for the sofabed).You will need to bring your own towels, bathmat and drying-up cloths.
6. A £50 per week deposit (non-refundable if you have to cancel) is payable when you book, with the balance due six weeks before the rental starts. We don't send reminders. Payments must be by £sterling cheque drawn on a UK bank (pay "David Nutt").
7. If you have to cancel within 8 weeks of the beginning of your stay, the full rent is still due unless we can relet. If we are successful in reletting, we will refund the money you have paid less the non-refundable booking deposit. (You may wish to insure against the risk of your having to cancel - see booking form.)
8. Your stay starts at 4pm on a Sunday and finishes at 10am on a Sunday (inless you're staying for a short break when these timings may change).
9. The cottage has steep, open-tread stairs with no side protection and two uneven steps down into the sitting room. The elderly and the young will need to take extra care and we cannot accept bookings from families with (walking) children under 3.
10. Please consult us about bringing a pet.
11. The cottage sleeps no more than five people, four in bedrooms upstairs and a fifth on the sofabed downstairs.
12. Free internet access is provided via a wireless router for any WiFi equipped computer. |
